Author Biography -- Finding a God Connection:

For over  30 years, John C. McComb has been researching the ways, means and methods that human beings use to connect and communicate with the universal force called God.

John found his own inner connection while interviewing a series of people, ordinary and extraordinary, for a book called Finding God. The book (offered as a free E-book on this website) illustrates that people famous and obscure, rich and poor, in the Jesus Movement and in the New Age – all had the same experience and all were individually unique.)

After working with: - ministers of Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, and Unity churches; - with New Age leaders like Peter Caddy of Findhorn and Barbara Marx Hubbard; - with William R. “Cherry” Parker and Elaine St. Johns (co-authors of Prayer Can Change Your Life);  - and with the Jesus Movement, -  John finds a universality of experience with God.

This experience was carried further during the 90s when he was inspired to create and host a TV show called Conversations with God. It was shown weekly on cable TV networks in northern California and southern Oregon for three years. Each show was built around an interview with someone who experienced two-way communication/prayer with God. One of the early interviews was with Neale Donald Walsch, who had just had his book published. It was also titled Conversations with God (the book and sequels have since been read by 15 million people).

After creating the Alliance for Humanity (originally incorporated as Love Energy Forum, Inc.), John published I Love You, a colorful book dedicated to teaching unconditional love. A new small book is entitled, We Are One – I Am! (also free on this website)

More recently, John was inspired to sit down at the computer for several weeks, taking dictation from the Inner Voice. The result was a new book entitled The New Jerusalem – Where God and Science Become One. In simple and direct language, this book explores the evolving Truth of human existence.

“It captures in less than 200 pages the drama of personal spiritual birth, uncluttered with argument and debate. It focuses upon the fact that the experience of connecting to God is the ultimate human paradox.” John explains, “The breakthrough is totally unique for each person, while somehow being exactly the same.

“It is my experience,” John McComb concludes, “that if the world is to enter the classic new millennium, it will require each of the new world citizens to create their own personal dialog with the infinite and be willing to follow that Inner Voice literally to the end of time.”

John currently spends his time between southern California,  Mount Shasta at the northern tip of the state, and Ashland in southern Oregon. To contact him, email jcmccomb@allianceforhumanity.com.
