What if humans looked at God and spirituality as a fact of life and used science to prove its tenets?

This is the approach of The New Jerusalem, an exciting book by John C. McComb that accepts the existence of God as a scientific fact and shapes a totally successful human reality out of that certainty.

The new book takes primary human spiritual beliefs and shapes this new reality upon that base. Some of these God-related factors, accepted by a major segment of the world's population include:

  • Humans live a two-stage life: the physical life (being born of the flesh); and a spiritual life (being born of the spirit). Without the spiritual phase, which is elective, humans do not live a complete life cycle;

  • When humans are born spiritually, they develop a new set of “senses” that are spiritual (mystical) in nature. This creates a new reality that is non-sensible to the spiritually “unborn” and thus invisible to them. They see the spiritual, therefore, as "non-sense";

  • The basic premise of all education must be adjusted. Over 90% of the American people believe in God. To separate the primary Truth of human existence from our schools is to condemn them to confusion and ineffectuality;

  • It is time to begin more active research into the spiritual facts of life, but the scientists doing the work must be spiritually “born” to have the senses to see, hear and understand the results.

  • Albert Einstein’s greater discovery was not the theory of relativity. It was exploring the universal intelligence of God from whence he accepted that the theory came;

  • And, humans, as creations of God, have potential access to the Mind of God, which - like a super Internet - contains all accumulated and potential knowledge in the Universe.

“There are no new ideas in The New Jerusalem, merely a fresh way of expressing them,” John McComb states. “Religion has a way of petrifying the language which describes the spiritual facts of life; and the meaning gets petrified in the process.”

“Jesus the Christ came to explain those facts of life to us. He didn’t come to create a religion.”

Proclaiming that humans are primarily spiritual creatures, The New Jerusalem, indicates that God enters each life through a private door and must be accessed by each human being within themselves.

It looks at religion as a means of keeping alive the story of God and humanity, but observes that the very process of organizing churches to operate in a secular world, puts out the spiritual fire that created the church in the first place.

“Often churches look askance at spiritual mystics,” McComb recounts, “but how can belief in a mystical God be anything but mystical.”

The book concludes with a prophetic look at the forthcoming transition of humanity into a higher spiritual future in keeping with the Bible’s Book of Revelations. It foresees creation of an actual city where humanity can research the effects on our lives of living our spiritual teachings and inspiration

The author explains that The New Jerusalem came through in a spiritual and mystical flow of words and ideas. Many of them took him weeks of re-reading and meditating to mentally digest.

“For a former corporate PR professional, this book was an epic adventure,” he explains, “and I hope it helps others to experience the wonder of a spiritual perspective in a confusing and often discouraging secular world.” (For more information about the author, click here)
